I suggested this on the original SY forum but it was near the end so I don't think anyone saw it. Anyways, how about a file that would increase metabolism and decrease how often you get hungry. It could also break you of the habit of eating snacks out of habit rather than actually being hungry.

Sorry, I changed the title of the topic. It was driving me insaaaaaane.

Raeft and I have discussed weight loss hypnosis, and he should definitely be up to making a file (with plenty of harassment from me). While I'm not totally disbelieving, I'm quite skeptical of most physical changes of hypnosis, and so I think a file that would encourage the listener to eat healthier, and to exercise more frequently would be far more effective than trying to speed up metabolism through hypnosis. As for decreasing hunger, I think that could be done hypnotically or otherwise; when you eat less on a regular basis, your stomach shrinks, and you're hungry less often.

caboboy, your enthusiasm is appreciated, but please make an attempt at proper spelling and grammar; you also don't need to sign your posts.

myself, if the file would make a person eat less to increase their metabolism, i dont think i would listen as with no more than i do eat due to an appetite loss i have had now for over 6 years, there is a good chance that eating less would really do some damage to my body. maybe something that would give a person that little push into doing something like cardio, yet start out at a beginners level and work themselves up, and as lissar suggest, change eating habits to something more healthy to increase metabolism.

i am one that if there is nothing holding me back, i tend to jump straight into the advanced and end up with really sore muscles for a really long time. i tend to over do it and go quite hard when i start, kind of like riding a bicycle, i dont start out pedalling slow, i have a need-for-speed if you will. it is as if i have no control over how fast or how hard i do any kind of workouts, so, if the file would be made, there would need to be the suggestion to not start hard right from the start but for the person to start out slow and work themselves up, just incase i would happen to use the file. Shocked

I completely agree with this thread. Im looking to get myself healthy, but I seriously lack willpower and im so deeply trapped in my terrible habits Im finding it damn near impossible, and its frustrating.
